A tradition at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church for decades, the annual turkey dinner is probably the main church event for which St. Bartholomew’s is best known in and around Hempstead. Using recipes that have stood the test of time, members of the church prepare hundreds of pounds of turkey and a whole mess of cornbread dressing, and then they throw on a smattering of other Thanksgiving fare. We promise you’ll enjoy the food and the company at our annual turkey dinner.

In addition to serving 100s of turkey dinners, both at the drive-thru and in the fellowship hall, we have a market stocked with beautiful handcrafted items that make great Christmas gifts. You also can purchase homemade cookies, candies, and bread.
